Welcome to the CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Family Medicine Residency home site!
We are a community based, unopposed program in San Antonio, Texas. We match 9 residents per year, for a total of 27 residents in the program. Our program has a longstanding reputation for graduating residents comfortable and competent in full scope family medicine and we take pride in upholding our vision statement: The CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Family Medicine Residency Program strives to be the premier program with the courage to foster the consummate Family Physician by modeling excellence in an atmosphere of professionalism, lifelong learning, and integrity.

At the CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Family Medicine Residency Program we are proud of our compensation package and invite you to explore the many benefits of joining our program.
Residency applicant criteria. Our program accepts nine new residents per year. In order to be considered for an interview, an applicant must meet our standards.
Our program boasts a robust curriculum with experiences in inpatient, ambulatory, obstetric, and pediatric medicine. We have a busy hospital service, with an open-ICU. Residents work closely with specialists to care for hospitalized patients.
The CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Family Health Center is adjacent to CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital - Westover Hills and serves as the home to the residency program.
